FOOTPRINTS OF HOPE: RESTORING PERIOD PRIDE TO YOUNG GIRLS FROM DISADVANTAGED BACKGROUNDS.

2021 being a post COVID-19 year, we have diversify our agenda as an organization. This year we have also included  HIV/AIDS, gender based violence(GBV) and Teenage mothers. This was after realizing that our girls are  not only affected by menstrual  issues. For this reason, our drives this year will not only focus menstrual issues but but will also touch on their well being health wise, emotionally and also will include the teenage mothers and their well being both at home and also at school.

So far we have done activities that are in line with our objectives. These activities include:

COMPASSION CHILDREN’S HOME.

This was our first drive of the year. We visited Compassion Children’s Home in Kanduyi, Bungoma County. This is a Christian based children’s home that takes care of about 100 boys and girls of age 0-18 years. Here, we met 80 boys and girls because others are in secondary schools
